Alliance Léman — Apex Spark and Idea Garden: Data Use and Privacy
Updated: 21 October 2026
These private services are operated for authorised Alliance Léman users. Public navigation and login pages do not give access to private records.
Apex Spark stores submitted images, accepted crops, OCR text, reviewed contact fields, photo identifiers, timestamps and transfer receipts in private storage on our Namecheap hosting. OCR runs on that hosting using Tesseract. After an explicit submission, the service sends the approved records and associated files to the owner's configured Google Drive and Google Sheets through Google Apps Script.
Idea Garden stores idea text, titles, categories, tags, versions, review decisions and transfer status in private hosting files and backups. Transfer to the configured Google Sheet requires an explicit action. Ideas marked HOLD are not admitted for transfer.
Google OAuth is authorised by the Google account owner. Connection credentials are stored in private server files. Application accounts use password hashes and salts, with separate application sessions; Spark users do not thereby receive access to Idea Garden. Namecheap provides the hosting, and Google provides OAuth, Drive, Sheets and Apps Script.
Automatic deletion or a fixed retention period is not currently configured. Archiving or cancelling an item does not remove every copy from Google or backups. Removal must be coordinated with the owner across the actual storage locations. The Google account owner can revoke the connection in Google Account permissions; revocation does not itself delete stored content.
